Gastric tea

A herbal tea blend for the stomach and intestines, containing chamomile, strawflower, tansy, marigold, common wormwood, and nettle.

Ingredients

Flowers

  1. Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla)
  2. Strawflower (Helichrysum arenarium)
  3. Tansy (Tanacetum vulgare)
  4. Marigold (Tagetes erecta)

Leaves

  1. Common wormwood (Artemisia absinthium)
  2. Nettle (Urtica dioica)

Medicinal properties

Gastric tea is described as reducing inflammation of the mucous membranes of the stomach and intestines.

It is also described as having the following effects:

  • enhancing intestinal peristalsis;
  • normalising stomach acidity;
  • relieving constipation;
  • stimulating the appetite.

Application

Use 1 tablespoon of the herbal mixture for 0.5 litres of water.

Boil the tea for 10 minutes.

Let it stand for at least 45 minutes before filtering.

Drink it 4 times a day:

  • once before each meal;
  • the fourth time before going to sleep.

The amount per intake should be approximately 50 ml.

Repeat the preparation process as often as needed during the treatment period.

Treatment course: 3 weeks.
